Posing for the camera! He's a natural...
At Great-Grandma and Grandpa Weaver's house. He got so much love and attention!

Awww...Grandpa time!
Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma

Last week we were able to go up to Pennsylvania to give Grandma and Grandpa Williams, Aunt Rachel and Great Grandma and Grandpa Weaver. We were also able to take a trip to Hershey and stay at a wonderful resort thanks to Adam's Grandma and Grandpa Kline! It was a wonderful time and Adam did really well traveling and through all the excitement.

We are so blessed!

Well, I thought I'd take a moment to say how incredibly thankful and blessed I am! I have an incredibly wonderful, loving husband and now a beautiful little son. God has been so good - it completely amazes me sometimes! I know I don't deserve such marvelous things, but God has chosen to bless me anyway. Thanks to all of you who have prayed for us, brought us meals, sent us gifts, etc. - the list goes on. It has certainly made our transition into parenthood so much easier and so, even though words can't truly express the depth of my gratitude, we are so grateful and feel extremely blessed by all of you!

Well, Adam is continuing to thrive. He has been sleeping better at night and is overall a very good baby. We are loving him more and more each day! He has started making more faces and smiles at times. Of course, I don't think he realizes that he's smiling, but I like to think that he is laughing with us...or maybe AT us? Either way, I'll take it! :)

Well, on Wednesday we will be leaving for Pennsylvania so that Adam can spend some time with his grandparents and great-grandparents. This will be his first long trip, so we'll see how it goes. He tends to do fairly well in his car seat, so I'm hoping that he will sleep most of the way. I guess we'll see. :) We are all excited though! I guess he'd better get used to traveling, since both of his parents tend to do quite a bit of it!

Sorry that I'm not posting any new pictures, but we'll get some up soon. When we get back from PA, I'm sure we'll have a bunch to choose from, so we'll post some more then. Thanks again to all of you!

Our First Honeymoon

Ok, so this post is a bit late. This video has been sitting on my computer for what seems like a year (We've been married for about a year and 3 months). I'm posting this video for our friends and family who would like to see some of the beautiful places we stayed at and visited during our honeymoon.

I (Stephen) can't help laughing every time I see this video. To enjoy it to its fullest extent, you need to know that Sarah is a bit camera-shy. Also, you need to know that Sarah is the sweetest gal on the face of the planet...just watch and see. Oh, and yes, my car was a giant icicle...and no, I was not in a food line during the Great Depression...just watch.

OK, I know most of what you really want to see on this blog are pictures...well, here are some new ones as well as some videos.

Welcome Adam Nathaniel Kline

Adam has finally come!

Adam Nathaniel Kline

3/22/07 4:21 PM

7 lbs. 8 oz.

20.75 inches long

We are the happiest parents in the world! Everything with the entire birth and recovery has been absolutely wonderful. Sarah and little Adam are both very healthy and active. Sarah is as giddy as ever and I can't stop smiling!

I suppose I should let you know what happened...this is the short version. Sarah began having contractions at about 2:00 AM on March 21st. We were at the hospital by 7:30 that morning. After getting settled in, Sarah's doctor came in and broke her water. At about 3:40 that afternoon, her contractions were strong and close enough to start pushing (yes, she did get an epidural). The doctor came in a little after 4:00. After he looked at Sarah, he asked her to stop pushing because he wasn't quite ready yet. He could tell Adam was going to come quick and he had to put on his sterile outfit! A few short minutes later at 4:21, Adam was born...what a miracle! I snipped the cord and we got to hold Adam for about an hour. It was wonderful!

God is awesome! We couldn't have asked for an easier pregnancy, birth, and recovery (so far). Thank you for your prayers...we know many of them were answered!

Anniversary # 1...and ...It's A Boy!!!

Greetings! This is our first blog posting so it may prove to be interesting...

This is really the first thing we have ever done on line since our official website.

Yes, we are pregnant! We will be having a boy on or around March 15th. We are sooooooo excited!

We celebrated our first anniversary on January 21. It was wonderful. Stephen's parents gave us a quick trip down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was beautiful! We were able to spend lots of time on the beach, at an aquarium, and just hanging out. It was a great getaway. We love each other soooo much!
